Main duties of the job

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Midwife with NMC
- Diploma in Midwifery or equivalent.
- Demonstrate commitment to on-going professional development
- Must have access to travel throughout the county with access to your own vehicle with appropriate business insurance.
Desirable
- Degree or Masters academic qualification in relevant / applicable field in
- NIPE Qualification
- SSSA qualified
- Computer literacy qualification
- Recognised management qualification
Previous Experience
Essential
- 6 months post band 6 experience
- Skilled and updated in all spheres of midwifery practice
- Evidence of knowledge/experience with safeguarding.
Desirable
- Skilled in Home births/IIA
- Able to undertake, interpret and apply appropriate research based findings.
- Demonstrate involvement in clinical audit

- Driving Licence and ability to use vehicle for business purposes.
