Community Mental Health Nurse

Job overview

The role involves managing a defined caseload with children/young people and their families who experience a complex range of needs and difficulties. You will be responsible for assessing, planning and providing ongoing support and therapeutic interventions to the client group/service users under the supervision of a senior team member.

You will complement the multi-disciplinary working of the team, participating in team and service development and evaluation.

This post is a development post, the post holder will have a training plan in place to support the learning to fulfil that on a Mental Health Nurse in CAHMS.  Upon completion and competency sign off the post holder will transition to the next AFC pay banding.
