An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Assistant Practitioner (HCA) to join our Community Nursing Team in West Caithness.
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Community Assistant Practitioner (Band 4) to join our Community Nursing Team across West Caithness. This role supports high‑quality, person‑centred care within patients’ homes and the wider community.
About the Role
You will work as part of an integrated community nursing team, delivering care to individuals with a wide range of needs. The role includes supporting clinical assessments, contributing to care planning, and working closely with registered nursing staff.
Essential Requirements
- SCQF Level 7 (e.g., SVQ3 in Healthcare or equivalent)
- Willingness to work towards SCQF Level 8 (PDA or equivalent), with structured support and mentorship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
Desirable
- SCQF Level 8 qualification already achieved
- Experience working in community or healthcare settings
