The post holder will have the opportunity to engage with service development and must have experience in developing and facilitating group psychological interventions. The role also involves developing partnerships across local community groups to promote social connections, community engagement and participation. The post-holder will contribute to staff training and provide support (supervision, reflective practice, informal, ad hoc, and formal consultation) to other psychological therapists, mental health practitioners, nursing and other multi-disciplinary colleagues, carers and people with lived experience of mental distress. There are a broad range of leadership opportunities including leadership of service delivery and Quality Improvement projects, staff development initiatives, and supervision.

The successful candidate will be an active member of the City & Hackney inpatient and the Community Mental Health Service as well as closely involved with the Department of Psychological Therapies in City & Hackney, under whose governance they will experience continuing professional development.
