Job overview

We are looking to recruit a Data Manager to support the work of the Cellular Therapy trials team within the within the Cambridge Cancer Trials Centre (CCTC).

The Data Manager will work alongside team lead, research nurse and clinical research practitioner, working on a wide range of commercial oncology and auto-immune advanced therapy trials trials.  We are looking for candidates with strong IT and communication skills to be able to enter clinical trials data into a variety of databases and to liaise within the multi-disciplinary team effectively.

You will be a clear communicator, flexible and willing to work on complex trials within a variety of different disease indications with good attention to detail and the ability to enter data with accuracy.

Please note, this role is not a data analyst position and you will need to demonstrate a clear understanding of what the role is when submitting your application.

Main duties of the job

To assist an experienced multi-disciplinary team running clinical trials, with specific responsibility for the management of the day-to-day data collection.

You will be responsible for the submission of data for trials using a variety of data capture tools.

You will use effective communication with external agencies and internal teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data submitted.
