We are recruiting enthusiastic and caring Radiology Clinical Healthcare Support Workers to join our growing teams:

📍 Boston – 17 vacancies available supporting both the new Boston Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) and Pilgrim Hospital Boston

📍 Lincoln – 5 vacancies available supporting both Lincoln County Hospital and the Lincoln Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC)

Why this role is different

This is far more than a support worker position. You'll become an essential part of the patient journey, working alongside highly skilled radiographers, radiologists, sonographers and nurses while gaining exposure to a wide range of imaging specialties and procedures.

No 2 days are the same. From helping patients through diagnostic examinations to supporting cutting-edge imaging services, you'll develop valuable skills in a fast-paced, rewarding and technologically advanced environment.

Main duties of the job

Are you passionate about patient care and looking to join a friendly, supportive, and innovative Radiology team? We are seeking enthusiastic Radiology Clinical Healthcare Support Workers to help deliver an excellent experience for our patients across our Radiology services.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will support Radiographers, Sonographers, and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care throughout the patient's imaging journey. You will assist with patient care, supervision, and movement within the department, while providing a welcoming and professional service to patients, relatives, carers, and visitors.

Flexible Working

Our services operate 7 days a week between 07:20 and 20:30, offering a variety of working patterns, including:

  • 4-day week: 08:00 to 18:00
  • 3-day week: 07:30 to 20:30

Applicant requirements

Experience

Essential

  • Working experience in a hospital environment or health care or customer service environment

Desirable

  • Multi-disciplinary Team
  • Experience of recent direct patient care.
  • Experience within a Radiology Department.
  • Previous experience of reception work

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE English & Maths at grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
  • Care certificate
  • NVQ Care level III

Desirable

  • First Aid certificate
  • Basic life support
  • NVQ Customer Service level III

Specific Requirements

Essential

  • Able to liaise effectively with all professional and non-professionals
  • Interest in working in the Radiology department
  • Able to work flexibly as required
  • Be able to easily commute between sites

Knowledge, skills, aptitudes
