Main duties of the job
These are fixed term roles made possible via the NHS England Multi-professional and Education Plan, which provides funding for paid clinical work experience opportunities for disadvantaged aspiring clinical psychologists. We are offering paid work experience opportunities for aspiring clinical psychologists at Great Western Hospital.
In this role, you may also (to a limited extent) undertake structured psychological assessments and deliver psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified psychologist, within a hospital environment.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- To assist in project work including event planning, project related administration, presentations, and the collection and interpretation of data. Tasks will be agreed and reviewed at appropriate intervals under the supervision of a qualified psychologist, but the post holder will take these tasks forward independently on a day-to-day basis.
