We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about improving care and share our health board values to join our small caring team of pharmacists.
You will be joining a team of experienced pharmacists and technicians and will be supported within a nurturing working environment to develop your career and undertake the prescribing qualification. You will be part of the exciting role out of EPMA supporting colleagues across the MDT as we embed digital systems within our practice.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will undertake a rotational clinical pharmacist role working closely with pharmacy colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Our small and friendly team will support you to develop your practice in a wide range of clinical areas. The majority of our pharmacists who completed foundation training progress within the department and health board and continue to prescribe and develop their role in their chosen speciality.
You will be expected to undertake the role of responsible pharmacist and will be expected to undertake Emergency Duty Commitment (on-call), work weekends and Bank holidays as part of a rota.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential
- Masters degree in pharmacy (4 years or equivalent)
- Member of General Pharmaceutical Council (registered pharmacist or pre-registration pharmacy trainee during applications, must be registered pharmacist at time of start date)
- English language qualification - GCSE grade C or above or IELTS score of 6.5 in writing and 6.0 in all other components.
- Professional knowledge of medicines managements systems and process in an integrated NHS.
