Job summary

The Liver and Gall Bladder CNS team are involved in supporting patients diagnosed with a HPB malignancy. We work across several different treatment modalities such as surgical, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can provide caring and compassionate support to patients/relatives. Someone who can confidently work as part of a team with the wider MDT and help to facilitate timely patient pathways from diagnosis to treatment.

Why you should join our Team

We are based in the AMS CSU in Bexley wing, St James Hospital. The Liver service is a specialist unit for the wider region with a team of expert and supportive clinicians.

We are a small CNS team who work closely with the Pancreas/UGI CNS teams. This results in a supportive office environment and good peer support.

What you will bring to the role

  • Will carry continuing responsibility for a defined caseload of patients.
  • Will provide advanced nursing expertise to patients attending with suspected diagnosed HPB disease.
  • Will contribute to the multi-disciplinary team and network in the development service.
