Job overview
Are you passionate about improving patient care through digital innovation?
East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking motivated and forward-thinking clinicians to join our Clinical Informatics Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for registered nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, healthcare scientists and social workers who want to influence how digital technology transforms healthcare delivery. Working at the intersection of clinical practice, patient safety and digital transformation, you will play a key role in shaping the ongoing development and optimisation of our Epic Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and wider clinical systems.
As an organisation, ESNEFT has made a significant investment in digital transformation through Epic. We are now focused on optimisation, standardisation and continuous improvement. This role provides an opportunity to use your clinical expertise to influence how digital systems evolve, improve the experience of patients and staff, and support safer, more effective care across the Trust.
Please note you will be required to complete a sphinx text for assessment.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about improving services, confident working with a wide range of stakeholders and excited by the opportunities digital technology brings to healthcare. You will be clinically credible, able to build relationships across professional boundaries and capable of influencing change through collaboration and engagement.
As a Clinical Informaticist, you will act as the bridge between frontline clinical practice and digital services, helping to ensure that technology supports safe, effective and efficient care. You will work alongside clinicians, operational teams, digital specialists and senior leaders to redesign workflows, improve user experience, support digital clinical safety and optimise the use of clinical systems across the Trust.
In return, you will join a supportive and innovative team committed to developing the next generation of clinical informatics leaders. You will have access to professional development opportunities, exposure to strategic digital programmes and the chance to make a tangible difference to healthcare delivery at scale.
If you are ready to use your clinical expertise to help shape the future of healthcare at ESNEFT, we would love to hear from you.
