Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST6+) in Gastroenterology (Endoscopy) to commence from 02 September 2026 until 31 August 2027.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop their practice in Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy with associated lists, training lists and research opportunities. The focus of this posts is training in Therapeutic Endoscopy. Depending on the candidate’s interest and availability of training capacity in the department, we will be able to provide training centered in EUS, ERCP or in Advanced Therapeutic endoscopy including: Colonoscopy EMR, Dilatation, Botox and Stenting, Balloon Enteroscopy and Video Capsule Endoscopy. They will also have an opportunity to develop their skills in the outpatient clinical setting with general and subspecialty Gastroenterology clinics. There will be a component of gastroenterology inpatient management in this post.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of commencement is required.
