What you'll be doing
- Supporting the Home Manager to ensure the service operates effectively and consistently meets CQC regulatory standards.
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support to nursing and care teams to deliver exceptional person-centred care.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including Nurses, Care colleagues, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Psychologists.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues, commissioners, and external professionals.
- Leading regular team meetings and promoting open, transparent communication.
- Supporting the recruitment, induction, development, and retention of staff.
- Overseeing risk assessments, care planning, and clinical governance processes.
- Conducting audits and quality assurance activities, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Supporting service development initiatives and implementing best practice.
- Creating a positive working environment where staff feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
