The Clinical Advisor is a registered nurse or paramedic who provides telephone-based assessment, triage and clinical advice within the London Ambulance Service Clinical Hub. Supporting the 999 Hear and Treat service, the postholder helps patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
Using structured triage systems, clinical expertise and professional judgement, the Clinical Advisor assesses patients of all ages with urgent physical and mental health needs. They identify red-flag symptoms, evaluate risk and determine the safest care pathway.
