The Role

You will provide comprehensive Administrative and Clerical support to clinical and non-clinical staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the service. You will Provide patients and other service users with information and assistance as appropriate.

What we'll need you to bring

  • Educated to standard grade level or experience in a similar role
  • Well developed interpersonal skills in customer care.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Understanding of a range of procedures and processes.
  • Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative whilst under pressure.
  • Proficient I.T. skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times.

Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience in dealing with medical records advantageous
  • Previous experience in dealing with members of the public

This role will be based in MHLD&A within University Hospital Wishaw

The working pattern for this role will be confirmed by hiring manager.
