Job summary

We are looking for a RSCN / RN Child nurse to join our Childrens Community Nursing Team delivering care to children within a range of community settings, including family homes, schools, nurseries and clinic. The post will involve providing nursing care for children and young people with complex health needs, acute and long-term conditions. You should be able to demonstrate relevant and current post registration experience of care delivery to children / families. The ideal candidate will possess good communication and organisational skills and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Main duties of the job

As a Childrens Community Nurse, you will provide specialist nursing care to children and young people with acute, complex, chronic, life-limiting, or additional health needs in a range of community settings, including the childs home, school, and community clinic. The role involves assessing health needs, planning and delivering evidence-based care, supporting hospital discharge and working in partnership with children, families, schools, and the wider multidisciplinary team. The Childrens Community Nurse provides education and training to parents, carers, and school staff. ensure that care is child-centred, safe, and responsive to the childs developmental, emotional, and social needs.
