Following secondment of the current post holder we are delighted to be recruiting to our Chief Allied Health Professional/ Deputy Chief Nursing Officer .

We are seeking an exceptional Allied Health Professional to provide strong clinical and professional leadership during an exciting period of service transformation. In this fixed-term role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our new structure, ensuring high-quality, robust leadership remains at the heart of patient care.

You will be a confident and inspiring leader with the ability to engage and collaborate with a wide range of people, gather valuable feedback, and motivate teams to achieve excellence. Your influence will help enhance both patient and staff experience, driving improved outcomes and ensuring effective, multidisciplinary care across services.

This is a fixed term post to provide cover for absence for specific purpose that we anticipate will be required for 6 months. We reserve the right to end this contract sooner with appropriate notice.

Main duties of the job

Act as a role model to colleagues, always seeking to maintain the highest standards of professionalism.

Lead on professional leadership for Allied Health Professionals across the organisation.

Lead on the delivery, monitoring and adherence of professional standards and processes for Allied Health Professionals across the organisation.

Promote and ensure high standards of care provision in line with national and local policy, statutory requirements, professional practice and workforce requirements across the Trust.

Represent the organisation at regional and national levels on Allied Health Professional matters.

Other key roles will depend on working hours and your previous experience and skill set.

If you wish to be considered for a secondment please gain permission from your Substantive Manager before applying.
