Job Summary
This post is working in a busy acute hospital, you will be required to undertake a range of duties in the provision of catering service.
Willingness to learn and undertake on the job training is required. Previous experience of chef within the NHS would be advantageous.
Key Working Relationships
You will be supported with a dedicated Supervisor who will ensure you have the correct skills and equipment to fulfil your full duties and potential.
Whilst a comprehensive training package will give to you the skills and knowledge to work effectively as a Chef, we want to learn from your application how you can meet the minimum of the essential criteria in our person specification, and perhaps even exceed this minimum standard. We support the continuous development of our staff so regular refreshers of training take place.
You will take the lead in hands-on cooking, , and daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all catering services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with food hygiene and health & safety legislation.

Ensure all catering operations are fully compliant with current food safety, hygiene, and health & safety legislation.
