We are looking to fill a variety of positions including Catering Assistant / Catering Porter
The open day will take place between 4-7pm in Stockport NHS Foundation Trusts, Stepping Hill Hospital
During the recruitment event open day, you will have the opportunity to meet staff representing our estates and facilities team and ask questions about the positions available.

Please note that whilst the trust does offer sponsorship this role is unfortunately not eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker visa route. This is due to the position not meeting the minimum salary threshold of £25,000 per annum and/or the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.

Main duties of the job
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To undertake food service duties in staff kitchen and visitor restaurant and all other retail outlets.
- To assist in the patient and restaurant food production kitchen as directed by the management team (preparation, cooking and storing).
- Assist in the service of food items as required.
- To prepare the patient meal service area with the necessary service equipment, cutlery, crockery meal trays, food etc. Portioning, plating and service of Patients Meals.
- To ensure that all food is served is of a high standard, mindful of portion control, meal content, correct temperatures and food presentation.
- To assist with the safe and effective cleaning of meal service areas and equipment after service.
