An exciting opportunity to work in the Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Team who are looking to recruit a Care Navigator for our friendly, fast paced multi-disciplinary team.

The main responsibilities consist of leading a small administrative team, managing the performance and business data requirements within the EIP Service. You will be responsible for overseeing all data management, look to improve ways of working, work closely alongside the business/ service development needs and support junior members of the administrative team.

Good skills in data analysis, Excel, minute taking and organisation are a must, as well as being able to organise a busy workload and being able to build working relationships with key people.

While not clinical, the post holder plays a vital role in ensuring the patient experience is positive by reducing administrative barriers.

Main duties of the job

Develop,operate and supervise the secretarial support and administrative service within the team.

Organise/coordinate e-roster system for their designated teams in the Division, highlighting areas of concern or staffing to relevant managers.

Ensure review, monitoring and reporting of Insight information is completed on a weekly basis, helping to support clinical leads with performance suite and feeding into relevant performance reports.

Organise the administrationserviceinvolved in taking, transcribing and distribution of agendas and minutes.

Ensure that tasks and referrals are prioritised and managed effectively.

Ensure existing IT systems aremaintainedand operational IT proceduresare adhered to.

Assume the lead and participate in audits as required by senior manager.

Assist the Clinical Lead with non-clinical policies/ procedures ensuring they are up to date and accurate.

Assistwith issues relating to health and safety on site in the district.

Ensure all internal/external communications contribute to a positive image of HIOWHealthcareNHS FT and are of the highest possible standard to establishand maintain effective internal and external communication channels.

Review andmonitormaintenance requests.

Work closely with other staff in secretarial/administrative support roles within the division, attending meetings where necessary, sharing information and best practice to ensure effective administrative support systems are in place across the service.
