A day in the life of a Care Assistant
- Companionship - Providingsupport, companionship, communication and engagement
- Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower andsupporting the client with dressing and oral care.
- Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
- Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
- Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
- Mobility -Supporting the client to live asindependently as possible with their mobility.
- Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
