Main duties of the job

Join our team as a Care Assistant and help residents live with comfort, dignity, and joy. This role involves providing personal care and supporting women, and only female applicants are eligible under a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) under the Equality Act 2010. As a Care Assistant, you'll be working in Admiralty Care Home in Gillingham, providing personal care, administering medication, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting social engagements. You will receive outstanding career development with funded training, work 36 hours per week including alternate weekends, and enjoy additional benefits such as a company pension scheme and a Blue Light Card for discounts.

• Care Assistant to work 42 hours per week to cover day shifts only from 8am to 8pm to include working alternative weekends
• Care Assistant to work 42 hours per week to cover a mixture of day and night shifts to include working alternative weekends - day shifts are from 8am to 8pm and night shifts are from 8pm to 8am
• Previous experience working in care is required for this role
• Able to work alternate weekends
