The successful candidate's base will either be Bronglais General Hospital or Withybush General Hospital. The preferred base location can be discussed at interview.
Main duties of the job
To perform a range of high-quality cardiac and respiratory diagnostic investigations that support the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with known or suspected conditions.
The post holder will undertake and report on diagnostic tests including ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, exercise tolerance testing, and potentially pacemaker follow-up. The role also involves providing technical support during invasive cardiology procedures, monitoring patient observations, recognising and escalating urgent clinical findings, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety, and contributing to the training and development of junior staff and students.
