Are you an experienced and passionate Systemic Psychotherapist ready to lead and shape a dynamic pathway within Gloucestershire CAMHS?
We are seeking an innovative and highly skilled Systemic Psychotherapist to provide clinical leadership, service development, and operational oversight for our Systemic Intervention provision within Gloucestershire CAMHS. This is an exciting opportunity to influence service delivery, support workforce development, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based systemic practice for children, young people, and their families. You will join a team of trained Systemic Psychotherapists and NVR Practitioners, as well as team members who are in training.
We will provide supervision and CPD and would encourage and support you to offer placements for trainee systemic and family therapists. You would join the GHC Trust Systemic Community of Practice to connect, share and grow your knowledge.
See attached Job Description for the full details.
In taking up this role in Gloucestershire CAMHS you will be a valued member of the CAMHS clinical leadership team, working closely with the Professional Lead for Psychological Services and other psychological pathway leads. You will lead with vision the clinical teams that deliver Family Therapy and NVR across our county, sharing the responsibility for ensuring high quality care of the children and families we serve.
We will support you to provide specialist systemic consultation and supervision, as well as working as the Senior Systemic Psychotherapist in the Core CAMHS team, holding a caseload and contributing to assessments and screening of new referrals to the Core team. You will use your highly specialist skills to support complex clinical decision making in your own caseload and to support the CAMHS MDT, bringing systemic understanding to the case discussions.
You will apply your highly effective communication skills to enhance your work with families, colleagues and other leaders. You will act as a containing and reflective presence that supports the teams that you work with; contributing to their psychological safety and effective functioning during challenging times.
You will have a collaboratively developed job plan that recognises both your clinical and leadership roles and the related tasks such as providing training, service development projects, evaluation and audit.
