Main duties of the job
- Working clinically as an Occupational Therapist in the Stafford Children's Mental Health Service.
- Delivering a high-quality clinical service to patients and their families.
- Providing leadership as the Occupational Therapy specialist within the team.
- Managing a complex caseload with Occupational Therapy specific focus/needs.
- Delivering specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions, in accordance with an agreed care plan, to an identified population of services users and their families.

Essential
- Highly developed specialist Knowledge across a range of Occupational Therapy interventions and client groups
- Evidence of extensive post registration experience working with young people and their families experiencing mental health difficulties
Desirable
- Experience of working as an occupational therapist within, CAMHS Mental health environments
Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in Occupational Therapy/ Msc
- Health and Care Professions Council Registered Occupational Therapist
Desirable
- Leadership qualification or equivalent experience
Skills, knowledge and Abilities
Essential
- Knowledge of Mental Health NICE Guidelines for young people with mental health problems
- A range of skills and knowledge to deliver evidence based interventions.
