Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for an Admin Support Clerk within the Elective Care booked Admissions team based at Eastbourne District General Hospital.
You will need to be motivated, hardworking and have excellent administration and communication skills. The successful candidate needs to be a strong team member, conscientious and have a flexible approach. The main duties of this role is to provide an efficient and responsive admin support to the Elective care admissions team. Monitoring generic email accounts, adding waiting list entries to the PAS system and ensuring RTT clocks are started, being a point of contact for patients and colleagues, answering incoming calls and helping to monitor answer phone service, helping to book pre assessment clinics and to contact patients to confirm attendance for their pre assessment before procedure date. The successful candidate needs to be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, have the ability to juggle priorities, to be a strong team member and excellent communication skills are essential.
