Job responsibilities

Biomedical Scientist Oxford Hospital | Pathology | Bank | Part time Up to £20 per hour depending on experience Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. To look after the nation's heath, we must provide the highest standards of care. So, we need to work with the best talent around. That's why we're looking for someone who understands how important it is to maintain great relationships while providing the high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory. As a Biomedical Scientist at our hospital, you'll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You're also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:

Deliver high-quality pathology services

Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service

Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control

Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables
