Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or a related field, or an equivalent or higher recognised qualification, along with GCSEs or NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths. While it is not expected that all new recruits will already possess the NVQ Level 2 qualification, they will be required to begin working towards it within six months of joining and complete it within a specified timeframe. Previous experience in a related environment is considered desirable.

Conquest Lodge is looking to recruit a Bank Support Worker to join the team.Conquest Lodge is split across four individual bungalows, which all offer plenty of space and a relaxed, homely environment. One of these bungalows has a slightly different profile of residents, providing specialist support for four people with complex mental health needs. The building has its own separate entrance. Across these four properties there are a total of 19 bedrooms, all of which are on the ground floor, making our home ideally placed to support individuals with physical disabilities. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities.
What you'll be doing
- Through own professional behaviour, including adhering to policies and procedures, contributes to the maintenance of safety, security and confidentiality standards.
- To undertake key working responsibility for individual service users, supporting the individual to plan goals and personal outcomes and ensure that these are comprehensively documented and reviewed. Innovation
- The role holder should have a flexible and innovative approach to their work and be able to facilitate and support service users in decision making, promoting choice and involvement at all times.
- The role holder should present the service in a positive light and should be proactive in making suggestions for how to improve the service.
