Cygnet Healthcare is looking for an experienced Bank Support Workerto join our team working at Cygnet Glyn House.
Youll be workingbank hours a week(days, nights and weekends),making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care atCygnet Glyn House.
Glyn House supports people with autism, learning disabilities and complex behavioural support needs. We provide specialist care and support which is tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and community integration.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Driven with a desire to make a real difference in peoples lives
- Experienced for 1 year plus in a support setting working with learning disabilities and mental health
- An excellent communicator and a good team player
- Caring and understanding with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
- Passionate about empowering & supporting service user independence
Your day-to-day
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
- Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
- Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with medical & welfare needs
- Report on medical & welfa re needs as required
- Safeguard all patients
- Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
