Priory Supported Living Kent provide supported living Support for people with a variety of support needs, conditions and presentations. This includes people who are autistic, have a learning disability or mental health needs. Our specialist support enables people to live happy and fulfilling lives in their own homes within their community.The support provided by our service is person-centred and specifically tailored to meet every unique need, underpinned by our philosophy that every individual has the right to live the life that they choose for themselves. We can provide support up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including 1:1 support.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.In this role you will cover services across, St Mary's Bay, Lydd and Ashford. Support workers are key workers, and provide direct support to our service users in support them to live there best lives. Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.Key Responsibilities· Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.· Encourage and assist participation in activities and community life.· Support service users in achieving their personal outcomes in the way they choose.· Maintain accurate records, care plans, charts, and daily notes.· Build positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.· Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality in line with policies and regulations.· Act as a key worker for individuals, helping them to set goals and track progress.· Promote choice, independence, and involvement at all times.· Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and suggestions.
