A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK NVQ Level 2 - Health and Social care qualification NVQ Level 3 - Health and Social Care qualification or be working towards Bank Senior Care Assistant role, for this role you must have the flexibility to work night and weekend shifts as and when required Daytime shifts are from 8am to 8pm and night shifts are from 8pm to 8am A day in the life of a Senior Care Assistant Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence Review - You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs. Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe and supportive and compliant way Social Activity - You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home. Leadership - you may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available. Main duties of the job
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at Agincare, you'll be instrumental in providing person-centred care to residents, ensuring their comfort and promoting their independence. You will play a key role in administering medication safely, contributing to care reviews, and leading activities and trips. Your tasks will also involve supporting new staff and potentially leading the home in the absence of more senior managers. The role requires flexibility for night and weekend shifts, along with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care, or working towards Level 3.
