The ideal candidate will be a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6–12 months of post-registration experience, an active NMC registration, and completion of a preceptorship programme. They should have a solid understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional practices, along with evidence of continuing professional development. A positive attitude, commitment to change and quality improvement, and the ability to develop and implement flexible, innovative approaches to practice are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, as well as a minimum of six months' post-registration experience in a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities care environment, with demonstrable ongoing professional development in a relevant field. - Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.
