Main duties of the job
What You'll Be Doing
Transport patients safely using wheelchairs, stretchers, and beds.
Provide a professional and compassionate service.
Communicate with patients respectfully and sensitively.
Move equipment and supplies safely in line with procedures.
Deliver pharmacy items, specimens, and essential supplies.
Support clinical teams across hospital departments.
Carry out mortuary duties in accordance with Trust policies.
Maintain high standards of safety, confidentiality, and infection control.
Complete records and follow procedures accurately.
Work flexibly across hospital sites and departments.
Support supervisors in delivering an effective service.
Follow Trust policies, including health and safety requirements.
