Spire Parkway Hospital is actively seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join its bank within the outpatient Physiotherapy team. This position is ideal for individuals interested in specialising in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull, West Midlands offers a comprehensive range of private hospital services. Our hospital is rated Good by the CQC for all parts of the inspection except for Patient Care, which is rated Outstanding. The report states, Staff treated patients with compassion and kindness, respected their privacy and dignity, took account of their individual needs, and helped them understand their conditions. They provided emotional support to patients, families and carers. Our dedicated hospital team are passionate about excellent patient care and we offer a range of specialist treatments to patients across Birmingham, Warwickshire and the West Midlands. This includes diagnostic services, rehabilitation, cutting edge surgical procedures and excellence in specialist fields like orthopaedics, women's health and cancer care. We have 51 bedrooms and five operating theatres.

Main duties of the job

Duties and responsibilities:

As a bank Outpatient Physiotherapist, your role will involve performing individual assessments and overseeing a diverse range of patient cases. You will have the opportunity to dedicate sufficient time to each patient, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care.

  • The position entails providing a high standard of assessment and treatment for our outpatient department.
  • You will manage a varied outpatient caseload
  • To hold own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for interactions with patients, consultants, and colleagues,
  • Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.

Job responsibilities

Who we're looking for:

  • BSc Hons or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Outpatient Physio experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to develop good working relationships.
  • Demonstrate solid clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based practice.
  • To be computer literate with excellent organisational and time management skills and an acute attention to detail.

Working Pattern:

Weekday availability essential. To cover 8am-8pm Mon-Fri and potentially Sat mornings.
