Job responsibilities

Bank Perioperative Practitioner (Anaesthetics) | Spire Alexandra Hospital | Chatham | Bank Spire Alexandra Hospital is looking for a Perioperative Practitioner with anaesthetic experience to join our Theatre team on a flexible bank basis. This role offers ad-hoc shifts across the week (7:30-20:00), with a mix of long and short days, supporting a busy and supportive theatre environment. At Spire Alexandra Hospital, we offer a comprehensive range of treatments to patients in Medway and the surrounding areas of Kent and the Southeast. Our private hospital has two extensively equipped operating theatres, backed up by an extended recovery unit with 24-hour support. Key responsibilities:

Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care

Prepare anaesthetic rooms and equipment for surgery

Support anaesthetic delivery across a range of specialties

Monitor and care for patients pre and post-operatively

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

HCPC registered ODP or NMC registered Nurse (no restrictions)

Anaesthetic experience essential

Experience in areas such as spinal, gynae, urology or orthopaedics

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Flexible approach to working patterns
