Main duties of the job

We are seeking experienced Non-Scalpel Vasectomy Doctors to join our bank team, supporting an established Integrated Sexual Health Service across Coventry and Warwickshire. This opportunity allows you to provide high-quality, patient-centred care in a flexible role within a multidisciplinary clinical environment. You will perform non-scalpel vasectomy procedures under local anaesthetic, manage pre-operative assessments, and support patients intra-operatively and post-operatively. Your qualifications include being experienced in Non-Scalpel Vasectomy procedures and having a CoSRH Special Skills Module (SSM) in Vasectomy. You will need current GMC registration with revalidation and proven experience delivering vasectomy services in a clinical setting. Desirable qualifications include a DFSRH qualification.

  • Proven experience delivering vasectomy services in a clinical setting
  • Strong understanding of mens health and contraception
  • Up-to-date mandatory training (e.g. safeguarding, IPC, IG)
  • DFSRH qualification
  • Experience working within integrated sexual health services
  • Familiarity with clinical systems (e.g. SystmOne)

  • Up to £80.00 per hour depending on experience
