A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK Bank Kitchen Assistant - zero hour contract Each shift is 10 hours, 4 shifts a week to include working alternative weekends Combination of shift times; 7.30am - 5.30pm and 9.30am - 7.30pm No set shifts, flexible rota A day in the life of a Kitchen Assistant Support the chef to create healthy/balanced meals and snacks, and ensuring a good understanding of various dietary requirements and allergens Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen area, with good levels of hygiene particularly in line with COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols. Work as a team player, but have the ability to lone work when needed, effectively managing your time. Offer support, communication and engagement to the residents.

You will also work as a team player but have the ability to work alone when needed, effectively managing your time and offering support, communication, and engagement to residents.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Assistant

About You

You don't have to have worked in care before, a previous role in a different catering environment is great for someone willing to learn. We'd like you to have some prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH. You will be a caring, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to show empathy to the needs of others.
