
Job summary
To assist in the provision of physiotherapy intervention to patients referred into the department, prioritising physiotherapy referrals in order to implement effective and timely caseload management and determine clinical diagnosis and provide physiotherapy treatment, developing appropriate packages of care, giving specialist clinical / professional advice to patients, carers and other Health Care Professionals.
Main duties of the job
Undertake assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical, and emotional needs. To formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes, ensuring effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge is achieved. Ensure ongoing monitoring of the standard of treatment provided Ensure compliance with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes Utilise working hours with full clinical treatments where possible Ensure the procedures for referring patients to and from the clinic are always followed correctly All clinical records are accurately maintained and conform to all legal requirements. To ensure that Clinical Governance and risk management are embedded within daily practice. Provide and receive patient information, ensuring that all patient information is provided, received and recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Act and Spire Policies. Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post

Degree (BSc Hons Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
HPC Registered
Professional assessor
Evidence of substantial CPD in management and other clinically related and relevant subjects
Previous experience working in the private healthcare sector
Previous experience of managing clinical audits
