Spire Cheshire Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic and experienced Pre-Assessment team working on an ad hoc basis.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist the qualified nursing staff, under their supervision, in providing a high quality, comprehensive service to all patients and users, ensuring a high standard of a patient care is maintained in a clean and safe environment
- Correctly undertakes assessment tasks that have been delegated in relation to the specific individual as agreed with the care team.
- Receive, transmit, store and retrieve information
- Undertake basic observations of patients’ vital signs
- Records information related to designated tasks accurately and passes it on to the relevant person in the team on time.
- Identifies and reports any significant changes that might affect the individual’s health and well being to the appropriate person.
Who we're looking for
- Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
- Experience ideally within POA, will consider Hospital experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
- Experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations is essential
