Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust has exciting opportunities for Bank Band 3 Healthcare Assistant’s (HCA) to join our Community Hospital Team's across all areas of Shropshire.

As a bank HCA, you will have the opportunity to pick up shifts at the following sites as they become available, supporting the inpatient wards:

• Ludlow Community Hospital
• Bishops Castle Community Hospital
• Bridgnorth Community Hospital
• Whitchurch Community Hospital

Main duties of the job

We are proactive forward thinking teams, who constantly strive for the delivery of excellent patient care and modern ways of working. The team's work closely with Therapies, Virtual Ward and Rapid Response, supporting multi-professional working.

The services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with Early, Late (or Long day) and Nights shifts available.

The teams provide nursing care to patients while on the wards with a rehab focus and promotion of patient independence.
