Job summary

Working with a supportive clinical team, you'll provide hands-on care so that people receive safe, respectful treatment every day. You'll support registered nurses across a range of services, helping patients with their day-to-day care and clinical needs. This role is varied and flexible, giving you the chance to build skills while making a real difference to people's health and wellbeing. Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore City Health Care Partnership would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role

Main duties of the job

What you'll do:

  • Support patients with care tasks, observations and basic clinical procedures
  • Monitor and record information using electronic patient records
  • Communicate clearly with patients, carers and colleagues
  • Prepare clinical areas and maintain equipment and stock levels
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care

What we're looking for:

  • A Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or similar experience
  • Willingness to complete the Care Certificate during induction
  • Experience supporting patients in a healthcare or care setting
  • Good communication skills and a caring, respectful approach
  • Ability to manage your workload and work both independently and in a team
