Exciting opportunities exist for BANK dental clinical assistants to join the team at Bristol NHS Foundation Trust (BFT). The successful candidate will be required to assist the dental nursing team with the smooth throughput of workload on the departments.

Good communication skills are essential, as well as empathetic approach to patients. You will work with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that the patients of Bristol experience a high standard of service and a good patient journey. Previous experience of working in the NHS would be an advantage.
This post would be based mainly in the Bristol Dental Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be guided by the dental nursing team re the designated work areas they will work in and will be responsible for ensuring they participate/contribute to the efficient use of resources and safe working practices.
The post holder will support the clinical team in the provision of safe, high quality patient care that meets the needs of the patients accessing our services.
The post holder will be accountable for the collection, delivery and transfer of instrumentation to clinics within University of Bristol Dental Hospital.
The post holder will support the distribution of clinical supplies across the clinical departments.
The post holder will support the clinical team with the preparation and maintenance of the clinical departments The post holder will undertake all on the job training as is deemed necessary for them to carry out their duties within the department in a safe manner.
The post holder will be expected to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

- Level 2 QCF Diploma in Clinical Healthcare support/ Level 2 NVQ in Healthcare/Health & Social Care
