Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated and experienced physiotherapist join our inpatient therapy bank.
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of rotational band 5 experience in a hospital-based environment, with strong communication and teamwork skills. You will ideally be respiratory competent and have experience in managing acute medical, orthopaedic and /or neurological conditions. You also need to be self-motivated, adaptable and dynamic, and able to work autonomously. There may be opportunity for weekend working.
We are committed to your training and development of acute specialist skills and clinical expertise and will provide opportunities to participate in training, service development, and clinical supervision.

Main duties of the job
- To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of your own clinical practice, To undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients including those with diverse or complex presentations/multi pathologies; use advanced clinical reasoning skills and physical assessment techniques to provide an accurate diagnosis. To formulate and deliver an individual physiotherapy treatment programme based on a sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options using clinical assessment, reasoning skills and knowledge of treatment skills. To formulate soundly reasoned physiotherapy prognoses and recommend best course of intervention, developing negotiated goals leading to comprehensive discharge plans. Where appropriate develop these goals with the multidisciplinary team.
