We’re seeking a dynamic Associate Director of Assurance PMO to drive transformational change and efficiency across Croydon. In this pivotal 6-month role, starting 2nd January 2025, you’ll work closely with the Director of Transformation, executive leaders, and clinical teams to ensure the successful implementation of innovative programmes that focus on operational and clinical excellence.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and promote efficiency and transformation programmes with local partners, clinicians, and social care teams.

- Oversee efficiency initiatives across organisations, including South West London ICB, South London and the Maudsley, and Croydon Council.

- Ensure seamless transitions from decision-making to implementation of impactful projects.

- Provide expert analytical and project advice in internal and external working groups.

- Develop robust monitoring processes for accurate, timely reporting of programme progress.

- Engage and inspire stakeholders with clear communication of complex project information.

Essential Experience

To succeed in this role, you must have a proven track record of leading complex transformation and efficiency programmes within an NHS or healthcare setting. You should bring:

- Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.

- Expertise in navigating NHS operational and clinical systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels, including executives and clinical teams.

- Familiarity with working across organisational boundaries to drive collaborative change.
