The post holder will work together with the current Senior Research Nurse and have responsibility for the effective and efficient operational day to day management of the team, including budget control, governance, staff development and training. The post holder is professionally accountable for the maintenance of standards of professional practise and standards of care. They will provide professional leadership within the core research team, providing direction and inspirational leadership to all members within the multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will undertake and supervise research and teaching to set, monitor and continuously improve standards of care and patient experience. The post holder is accountable for safe, effective clinical practice, managing and developing team performance, managing a devolved budget ensuring efficient and effective use of physical and human resources. They postholder will work collaboratively with Lead Research Nurses and Senior Research Nurses across the trust to seek and provide support and deliver compassionate leadership.
