Job overview

We are looking to recruit a  qualified and registered Rehabilitation Engineer (Clinical Technologist / Clinical Scientist) to join the Rehabilitation Engineer Service  numbering around 25 staff which is based in Birmingham, but operates across the West Midlands supporting the 12 local wheelchair services.  In this instance the Rehabilitation Engineers will be primarily based in Warwickshire Wheelchair Service.

Main duties of the job

We require a qualified and registered healthcare science practitioner (clinical technologist) to undertake assessment of postural and mobility needs for service users of Wheelchair Services within the West Midlands.  Any applications from applicants who are not suitably registered will not be shortlisted

Create innovative and safe solutions to meet the assessed clinical needs of wheelchair users. These solutions will take into account relevant legislation and follow our ISO13485:2016 QMS

As part of of a Rehabilitation Engineering Team of over 25 staff you will participate in an active CPD and Clinical Supervision programme.
