To provide therapeutic assessment, management and treatment to surgical patients at heartlands hospital. You will be required to use excellent clinical reasoning skills to provide high quality and patient centred physiotherapy input.
You will demonstrate a clear understanding of the patient pathways through their journey and recognise the importance of timely and effective physiotherapy intervention to ensure best possible patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills to deal with challenging situations and to be an advocate for their patients. Additionally they will work collaboratively with the wider MDT to optimise the provision of care to patients.
You will participate in service development and support the development and education staff and students. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient centred care.
You will participate in the 7 day working rota with the specialist surgery team and will be a member of the physiotherapy respiratory on call rota.
