Job summary

Main duties of the job

Experience in clinical paediatrics, CAMHS ED, or home enteral feeding is preferred, but applicants with a strong interest in paediatric specialities will be supported through training or a development role. Strong communication skills and a proactive, handson approach are essential for working effectively with patients, carers, and professionals. The service offers a paediatric CPD forum and close links with University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust Dietitians, providing broad development opportunities. There is growing involvement in research, audit, and support for student dietitians on A, B, and C placements. Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust Nutrition and Dietetic Service delivers care to adults and children across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland, covering outpatient clinics, domiciliary visits, inpatients, mental health, learning disabilities, specialist weight management, and work with nurseries and schools. The post is based at the Leicestershire Nutrition and Dietetic Service Headquarters near the M1/M69 junction. A full driving licence and access to a car during working hours are required.
