Shift Patterns: 37.55 hours p/w between Monday to Friday (08:00-16:00, 08:30-16:30 or 09:-17:00)

An excellent opportunity has arisen to come and be part of our dynamic Speech and Language therapy team at Berkshire Healthcare Trust. We are looking for an experienced Speech and Language therapist to join our Mainstream Schools team. You would visit schools and assess CYPs needs, providing high quality reports and therapy plans as well as advice and strategies to school staff.
Main duties of the job
Maintain accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date documentation, in line with legal and departmental requirements, and communicate assessment and treatment results to the appropriate disciplines in the form of reports and letters.
Undertake clinical sessions, and manage a caseload as required, offering direct assessment, advice, signposting, intervention and training and support as required by the integrated therapy model.
Provide specialist advice, teaching and training to colleagues working within and outside the service, regarding individual patients and all areas of clinical delivery.
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with medical, nursing and other therapy and education staff to ensure delivery of a coordinated integrated service.
Identify healthcare inequalities and adapt programmes to meet the needs of the local population.
