Division of Specialist Medicine Cardio-Respiratory Unit Barking, Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals Trust. Respiratory Physiologist Band 5-6
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our team at Barking, Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals Trust.
The Cardio-Respiratory Units are friendly, busy and rapidly expanding diagnostic units. We offer a wide range of investigations to the Trust including resting ECGs, 24 hour ECG and BP monitoring, Event Recording, Transthoracic, Transesophageal and Stress Echocardiography, Pacemaker follow-up , Full Lung Function Testing and Sleep diagnostics.
We have a Community Diagnostic Centre at our Barking Hospital site and St Georges Health and Well-being hub, providing a range of diagnostics in the community setting.
We are looking for a forward thinking, enthusiastic individual to join a dedicated team of professionals working to the highest quality standards. Applicants should be appropriately qualified, experience at a senior grade and be able to independently perform, interpret and report on lung function tests.
Newly qualified Respiratory Physiologist are also welcome to apply. We would look to appoint you as a Band 5 and upgrade you to a Band 6 once you have met the competencies for this post.

To provide a high quality, appropriate and effective Respiratory investigation service.
To supervise, guide and support all junior members of staff.
To be responsible for the organisation and delivery of an area of specialist responsibility as allocated by the Lead Respiratory Physiologist.
