As a Student School Health Nurse with us you will be supported by Birmingham City University for the 50% academic study requirements of the course. The training is offered fulltime commencing 1st September 2025 with fixed holidays set throughout the 52 week duration of the course. You must be a car driver with access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes
Throughout the course theory will be embedded into practice and as an NMC registrant you will be expected to further develop your communication, leadership and reflective skills. In practice you will be supported by dedicated and innovative School Nursing colleagues who are committed to supporting and developing Student School Health Nurses and then welcoming newly qualified School Nurse into teams.
Applications are welcomed from all applicants including those currently working in clinical roles above a band 5.
